Experience
Experience: 2011-Present. Instructor of Art at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. Courses taught: Painting, Drawing, Figure Drawing, 2-D Design, Foundation in New Media, Gallery Management, and Branding and Identity. 2010-2012. Instructor of Art at Corning Community College, Corning, NY. Courses taught: Drawing. Educational Background: In my studies over the years I have focused heavily on traditional techniques and processes as they relate to drawing and painting. For example, In 1999, I studied at the Atelier Neo Medici in Monflanquin, France, learning the Northern Renaissance method, The Technique Mixte. In 2001, I studied and worked at Hospitalfield House Artist Residency in Arbroath Scotland for a year under a Fellowship. During my stay here I met and worked with artists from all around the world, further developing my understanding of the arts. There are many ways to approach art and everyone has a preferable way to go about their craft. It takes time to develop one's personal approach and I can offer guidance from historical to modern day techniques found in drawing and painting. First step is to determine where one needs help and to start from there on a one to one basis. The most important place to begin is by creating a solid foundation.
